In the beginning it was just Alex, Jordan, their older brother (also named Chris) and his friend. Later on Chris and his friend broke up the band and went with another one. So then Alex and Jordan had nothing to do and didn't play for a long time. Alex went on his own after that and got a band for a short time. Alex went back and then asked his friend Kameron who had been playing guitar for only nine months. A week after he asked Kameron he ask his other friend Chris to play bass. And the week before new years they got three songs and did pretty good. Then one day online they decided that they shouldn't quit playing and do shows and other things like that. Then one day online they were trying to find a band name for themselves and Kameron came up with up with "Original Inheritance" or "International Face". Alex said that they should have a name with only one word. So Kameron said that it should be "International" or "Inheritance". They all agreed on Inheritance and that's how they got their name. And that’s the story of how Inheritance came to be.
